Our work at this site in Barnton has recently been completed and their new store and forecourt was opened in April 2009. Following removal of the old tanks and subsequent ground remediation, the existing store was extended. Due to poor ground conditions, the canopy incorporated piled foundations. New tanks on the Cookson and Zinn baseframe were installed to minimise health and safety risks.
The site has four pump islands with 8 hose pumps installed with fully operational Stage II Vapour Recovery.
The tank installation, pipework, associated civil works, mains electric panel, canopy and tank gauges were all completed by Petrocom.
